Dwarf Star Origami I

He finished me off with a mercury draught. A mercy killing in a private room: one brother caned and the other more than able. And then he went mad with unbearable sorrow.
I’ve been away, I’ve been bad company, I’ve been in another place. I’ve been playing with cards, wandering the land. I’ve been dead, but I dug my way up through the grass and I’m back.

Those mercury draughts are lethal, real loopy juice.
Sometimes it’s good to be away , if only for the feeling of getting back.

Lethal indeed… though not quite as lethal as he intended, apparently.
