Creativity occurs in the strangest of environments. A weed is just a plant in the wrong place, but sometimes the wrong place is exactly where you need to be.

    If someone has a sure-fire algorithm for deciding the rightness of place or time, please let me know. Weeds, in other terms, are just plants that don’t require dutiful ministrations.

    Daniel – and it’s those cracks in one’s level of dutiful attention, just like the cracks in the cement around our bathroom drain, that provide fertile territory for the seeds of imagination to bloom.
