Okay, I’m here. A little later than expected, since I became one of the unofficial event photographers for U2log at the last minute, which necessitated much fiddling around with a TV capture card and subsequent uploading to Flickr.
The upload is still going at the time of writing, it’s done about sixty of three hundred images. If U2 is your thing, check back later for the full set (probably fully uploaded by around 5pm UK time). We’re also featuring heavily in the Flickr sidebar on Technorati’s Live8 search page at the moment too.
I thought U2 were fantastic, to such an extent that everything since has been rather flat. Coldplay passed me by completely, too busy fiddling with screenshots. Elton was competent but didn’t rock my world. Pete Doherty is a waste of space. Dido is currently murdering Seven Seconds alongside Youssou N’Dour as I type.
