All that Stanstead now brings to mind is a frantic episode involving lost luggage, tannoy announcements, a surly dragon, and a mad sweaty dash for the train. Whereas I have become strangely fond of the once-loathed Heathrow.... Quiet and sterile, and yellow signs as far as the eye can see. Magical.
