Yes, the EOS 300D is the Digital Rebel in its minimal European guise. The depth of field capabilities have just about justified the purchase alone. Also much better ISO control.
Very nice. The nail and thermometer have been added to my Desktop Pictures folder which appears to have 659 items in it some of which are your Dungeness pictures.
By the way, last time I was on Romney Marshes was in the 1960s: there were many broken bottles of tomato ketchup.
