… the Chemical Brothers are releasing a ten-year singles collection and you still think of them as a fairly new band. And then for a split-second you find yourself wondering why Born Slippy isn’t on it.
(Even worse, then you find yourself double-checking the track listing, just in case your memory is even flakier than you thought and your wisecrack falls flat on its face because Born Slippy is actually by the Chemical Brothers.)

Underworld are releasing a ten-year singles collection as well. And “Born Slippy” is, in fact, on it.
Thanks for the information, Chris. Suddenly I feel so much younger.
Strangely enough, I was listening to the Chemical Brothers last night.
Oh, sorry, I remember now – it wasn’t the Chemical Brothers. It was Flanders & Swann. Easy mistake to make.
Underworld??? But surely they’re much newer than the Chemical Bros…. who, as you said are themselves barely started.
Time for my medication, nurse.
underworld are much much much older than the chems, of course when they started (see “underneath the radar”) the sounded a LOT diferent, now its me that feels old, although i prefer wise, learned, travelled…
