Quantity Not Quality?

    So profoundly not true. One of the most haunting (and therefore I am assuming engaging in the sense involving, occupying rather than being jolly) things I have read for a long time was the pre-novel-release excerpt from Pobby and Dingan by Ben Rice which was published in Granta. Interesting article.

    Hmmm… what about the most recent Harry Potter book, which despite being over 700 pages long, everyone seems to have read at Mach 3?
    Noting that people haven’t been doing it to show off, but merely to get the information into their heads as quickly as possible, the record amongst my friends seems to be 8 hours!
