Welsh Wizardry

Mystifyingly, this Terry Wogan compilation CD cropped up in my Amazon recommendations. Its cover artwork is compellingly awful and the tracklist, in part, reminds me of the days when Radio 2 was something listened to by my parents rather than by my friends.
I was about to click away, when I spotted that the single reviewer was referring to Terry as “the Welsh wizard”! I wondered whether it was some kind of ironic in-joke that I (thankfully) don’t understand, but as the reviewer lists his/her location as “London, Surrey” I think we’ll just assume that they aren’t too hot at geography.
