Feng Shui London

Posted on March 25, 2003 by Hg

“The Thames Barrier. Way way downstream, this thing was completed in the early Eighties, to protect London from a possible tidal surge. It looks pretty, but it threw the [feng shui] of most of the city out of kilter by damming up the chi flow downriver, leading to the boom and bust years of the Eighties. This effect is being remedied now by the Millenium Wheel; there’s a reason it projects over the river like a water-wheel.”
