I think I read somewhere that the problem with his approach (which I find very interesting) is that it will send a new ping each time you update a post, even if you're just tidying up punctuation or grammar. MT's "vanilla" functionality is smart enough only to ping sites (including weblogs.com etc.) when the post is first published. This might be your issue? I've been through the pacifist-non-interventionist bit since, but now I'm with Sarah Jane again. The Doctor wimped out. Did the Dalek's ever claim to be doing their business (a lot of exterminationg mainly I guess) for the public good? I think not. Does that make it OK for the Dr to do use such a claim if he exterminates them? Again, probably not. But he's a Time Lord for gord's sake! Time Lords are supposed to be arrogant opinionated gits aren't they? Isn't that what it's all about? Like Tone and Dubya they're there to make these decisions. It's their job.
