"I am Nostalgia's bitch, and Procrastination is my drug."

So, it goes like this. I visit Nottingham last week, I get nostalgic, we meet up with Mike for lunch on Wednesday and talk about the past, present and future of the city, after which I write a piece about adolescence and nostalgia. Then I go to a great party last night where I meet Mike again, who introduces me to Anna (author of Kookymojo), who is equally good company. Eventually Mike and I take a cab back to The Frozen Wastes Of South Of The River and on the way we talk about time-poverty and the dangers of procrastination.

This morning I check out Kookymojo and discover: a) another fine site that I should have started reading months ago and b) plenty of shared interests, including a piece on nostalgia and procrastination. Call it coincidence, synchronicity, gestalt or just Reading Too Much Into Things, but I love it when this happens. The networks. The net works.

Speaking, as you did in Friday's post, about A La Recherche Du Temps Perdu, you might like to check out the graphic novel adaptation (because it's sooo pretty!)

Nice to meet you on Saturday.

Thanks, that looks fascinating. It's one of those "books" (i.e. series) that I've been saving either for retirement or convalescence from a major illness. Seeing as I'm not planning either in the immediate future, this could be very handy.
